Student School Officers

School Officers are responsible for ensuring effective representation in your school and coordinating an enhancement project alongside a senior member of staff. Their projects will be very different depending on what school they represent and the challenges they face. They do this through using the Student Partnership Agreement to structure their work.

Listening to your Feedback

School Officers are there to encourage constructive feedback, listen to your opinions and communicate this to the School, University or Union. They also attend school-wide meetings with the Head of School and even university committees!

Partnership in Action

This is where they negotiate, influence and work with the school to make enhancements based on your feedback. Working on their project is also a key part of partnership in action and where most of the school officer work will be.

Impact of Partnership

Identifying, communicating and celebrating the enhancements made through your feedback and their project! This is really important, and it lets the rest of the students know what they have been doing and the difference student feedback has made.
