Aberdeen students will have the opportunity to get paid to hang out in clubs as Nytlyf is currently hiring. They are looking for motivated young people to become their next professional nightlife reviewers.

Clubbing, dancing, socialising with friends and reporting back to Nytlyf about the best and worst parts of the night is all the job would take.

Nytlyf is an Aberdeen based app which provides reviews about events and clubs. RADAR spoke to Nytlyf’s founder, Gregor Sey, to find out more about the app and this “dream job” as they call it

Mr Sey invented the app about anyear ago after a night out with his friends. He remembers he always used to go to the same places with his friends. They eventually got to the point when they were looking for a change of scene. They would research on Facebook for good venues deals. Mr Sey noticed that there were quite a lot of interesting venues but there wasn’t a platform to find out whether they were good or not.

Being fond of technology, he invented an app. He says he came out with it “just as a joke” for him and his friends. Then his friends shared it as they found Nytlyf very usefulA year later Mr Sey has launched the beta version of the app. He says the final app should be ready “at a certain point next year”. In the mean-time the team has started to test out the best features of the app.

To share the nightlife experiences they need to grow their knowledge of the nightlife in the UK starting from their city Aberdeen.

For this reason Mr Sey says he would be happy to welcome into his team people with different tastes from his, like “underground venues or cocktails clubs”.

The Nytlyf team are looking for people who are out-going, can recognise a great vibe when they see one and are socially active. He says he would also prefer someone active on social media “maybe not at an influencer level, but someone who like to share things”.

The main reasons to apply would probably be “experience and money” Mr Sey said. The job would pay at least £20 per venues plus the refund of entry tickets.

The application deadline is October 31st and all you need to do is to fill the form at: https://nytlyf.app/ultimate-job/
