Pastel Shades
Spring is all about pastels. Whether it’s lilac or mint green, there are plenty of options to choose from. During the Spring months, if possible, use pastel bedding to encompass your bedroom into the decorating process. You can also get Easter-themed bedding, with bunnies and Easter egg patterns, so keep an eye out for them as well.
Easter basket
With Easter being one of the biggest Spring events, make use of it by having an Easter basket as the centrepiece of your room. You could either create your own basket (there are some great tutorials online) or buy a simple wicker basket that can then also be used for picnics afterwards. You should then get some chocolate Easter eggs and pastel tissue paper to place inside. Perhaps, even a toy Easter bunny?
Do remember to place the basket somewhere that isn’t too hot so that the chocolate doesn't melt!
Hint at Summer
During Summer one of the key decorations that comes to mind is bunting. Hint at the Summer months to come with some bunting, with pastel shades if possible to blend the seasons together. Whilst bunting is easy to get, you could also make your own for that home-made aesthetic.
Blossoming Flowers
With flowers starting to blossom make sure to keep a vase in your home. Flowers such as daffodils and snowdrops are symbols of Spring, ideal for updating your home to match the season.
These are just a few ideas to update your home for a Spring-theme. What is your go-to Spring decoration? Do you have a favourite pastel shade? Let us know in the comments or by tagging us on social media!
