An opportunity to represent and raise awareness of Fertility Network Scotland and the key messages of our Education Project within Robert Gordons University. You will need to be a current student with the ability to commit a few hours each month to promoting the Education Project and helping with Fresher events at RGU. Raising awareness of fertility issues and how to prevent them can be extremely rewarding.
Student Ambassador – Key Tasks
• Promote the charity by displaying posters and leaflets in local area
• Highlight our campaigns and projects to fellow students including through social media
• Assist Fertility Network Scotland staff at events such as Freshers’ Week
• Adhere to Fertility Network Scotland policies and procedures
Student Ambassador – What We Are Looking For
Ideally you will:
• Have good communication skills
• Be reliable and trustworthy
• Have the ability to work as part of the team
• Be motivated with good administrative, social networking and ICT skills
• Public speaking skills in order to comfortably when speaking to teachers, students and members of the public
• Willingness to undertake induction training; attend events, work to guidelines and policies on Health & Safety, confidentiality and equal opportunities.
We would appreciate any time you are able to offer. As it takes an amount of time and resource to welcome new volunteers on board, we would appreciate it if you pledged to support us initially for a minimum of 6 months.

• Following the application process, our Volunteer Coordinator, Hannah Tramaseur will be in touch to take you through the induction process.
• Once your completed application form has been processed, you references received and your Student Ambassador Induction completed, the Education Development Officer for your area will be in touch.
• You will then be able to volunteer as a Student Ambassador at your College/University!
• You will then be ready to start volunteering!
