Introduction and Overview of the Palestinian Society

Welcome to the Palestinian Society, a newly established society at RGU, created to celebrate, share, and explore the rich culture and history of Palestine. Our society is open to everyone, Palestinians and non-Palestinians alike, who wishes to learn about and connect with the vibrant heritage of Palestine.

Who We Are
The Palestinian Society is an inclusive space where individuals can engage in meaningful conversations about Palestinian culture, history, and current events. We are a diverse group united by our passion for raising awareness, encouraging dialogue, and promoting understanding.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a supportive and inspiring environment for students to learn about and celebrate Palestine’s contributions to global culture and its enduring spirit. Through educational events, cultural exchanges, and activities, we hope to bridge gaps, challenge stereotypes, and inspire an understanding and appreciation about Palestine’s beauty.

What We Offer

  • Cultural Events: From traditional Dabke dance workshops to culinary experiences and art events, we bring a taste of Palestinian culture to campus.
  • Seminars: We host panel discussions and film screenings that shed light on Palestine culture and history.

Why Join Us?
By becoming part of the Palestinian Society, you’ll have the chance to deepen your understanding of Palestine, contribute to meaningful events, and meet people who share a commitment to diversity, advocacy, and cultural celebration. Whether you’re interested in cultural activities, open discussions, art events or simply find a sense of belonging, there’s a place for you here.

Together, let’s celebrate the beauty, culture and stories of Palestine.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Palestinian Society!
