I have been privileged to serving in various leadership and representation roles that have prepared me for this position: • Student Ambassador for Movember Organization • Class Representative (Public Health and Health Promotion) . RGU Student Speaker . Fresher's week Volunteer with RGU Union . General Secretary of the Nigerian Student Society . RGU Men’s Equality Champion These experiences have developed my communication skills, great leadership skills and team work .
1. Strengthening Student Communication - Improve social media engagement with interactive content like polls, Q&A sessions, and student spotlights. - Organise monthly student union feedback session/interview where students can voice concerns directly to the Union. - Work closely with student representatives, ensuring their growth and participation in Union decision-making (bringing back). Impact: Strengthen communication channels, ensuring every student stays informed and engaged
2. Expanding Career and Sponsorship Opportunities - As General Secretary of the Nigerian Student Society (NSS), I am currently collaborating with potential companies and organizations interested in sponsoring students and I will continue to extend this initiative to benefit all students at RGU. - Leverage partnerships with external organizations to increase internship, scholarship, and career development opportunities. Impact: Enhance career and sponsorship opportunities, with better support.
3. Building A More Inclusive & Engaging Campus - Organize more event like the cultural events of “One RGU, Many Nations" to celebrate diversity and bring students together. - Strengthen collaboration with cultural, academic, and sports societies to promote student engagement. - Ensure that all students, including international and part-time students, have equal access to information and opportunities. Impact: Ensure greater transparency in student representation and governance.

Lack of clear communication of career opportunities Advocate for improved housing policies with the other presidents and vice, and establish a housing support network to assist students facing accommodation challenges. Increase student governance knowledge and practices through engaging workshops and campaigns.
