Candidate for the position of Vice President (International)

DYSON MADISE

What relevant experience, skills and qualities do you have that make you a strong candidate for this elected position?

I have a strong foundation in leadership and representation, having served as Public Relations Officer during my undergraduate studies in Ghana. In that role, I represented student concerns, organized impactful events, and acted as a bridge between students and the administration. This experience has equipped me with the skills necessary to advocate for others and build meaningful connections, which are essential for the Vice President (International) position. As an MSc Information technology and Cyber Security student and an international student myself, I fully understand the challenges that come with adapting to a new academic, cultural, and social environment. This personal experience drives my passion for ensuring that all international students at RGU feel welcomed, supported, and valued. My background in public relations has honed my ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. I excel at actively listening to concerns, articulating solutions, and advocating for change at decision-making levels.
