Priority Aim 1
Fee-Free Clubs: Uniting RGU for Inclusive Excellence :
The removal of sport clubs joining fees in RGU sports offers numerous benefits. By eliminating financial barriers, it promotes increased participation, diversity, and inclusion. This fosters a healthier campus community, develops valuable skills, and strengthens the sense of belonging. Fee removal aligns with educational goals, enhances student satisfaction, and contributes to a positive public image, creating a more vibrant and inclusive university environment.
Priority Aim 2
Bridging Information Gaps and Participation:
At RGU, I intend to increase sports awareness by boosting information availability and communication methods. I want all students to be completely aware of the privileges that the university provides with their enrolment, including participation in sports. Together, we will build a vibrant sports culture that will improve our overall campus experience.
Priority Aim 3
Fostering Integration, Inclusivity and Clubs Strength:
I am deeply committed to fostering integration and inclusivity within our sports community. My vision is to create a welcoming environment where every student feels valued and included, regardless of their background or ability. Through inclusive events, diversity initiatives, and open communication, we can bridge gaps and build strong connections among our diverse student body. By celebrating our differences and embracing our shared passion for sports, we can create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
What is the biggest issue currently facing RGU students, and how will you work with the rest of the Student Presidents and Vice Presidents to tackle this?
University life is stressful, yet RGU Sports remains underutilized due to a lack of awareness or intimidation. I advocate for awareness campaigns, engaging events, and improved communication channels to address this. By fostering inclusivity and offering welcoming activities, students can fully benefit from RGU Sports. Through proactive promotion and accessibility enhancements, we empower students to enrich their university experience and strengthen community bonds within RGU.
