GABRIEL ANTONIAZZI

Hello, my name is Gabriel Antoniazzi and I want to be your next President of Communication and Democracy. I am in my fourth year studying journalism, a course which I feel will bring me great experience in the role of President, especially with communication. I have several years of experience in student elected roles throughout the university. I have spent two years as an elected representative in the Sport and Physical Activity Team and been the President of Football for the past year. In these roles, I have stood up and represented the views of many students, something I am passionate about and want to keep doing.

WHY VOTE FOR ME?
If elected as President of Communication and Democracy I will represent you and fight to improve every aspect of student life at RGU. My aims will be:

• STRONGER REPRESENTATION for students at the University

• Make the union a MORE APPROACHABLE place for students

• Help make a smooth transition into a NEW ACADEMIC CALENDAR, including a Timetabling App

• To push CAMPAIGNS such as Gender Based Violence, LGBT+, Mental Wellbeing

• Increase SOCIAL MEDIA engagement to reach ALL students across the university

• Focus on SPORT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, keeping students active and healthy

• Work with the uni to IMPROVE COMMUNICATION with students and staff

• Work with the uni to improve healthy food options on campus, for LONGER HOURS

• Benefits off campus- being active in the community, help with HOUSING

Thank you for taking your time to read and remember, a VOTE FOR GABS is a VOTE FOR EVERYONE.

VOTE GABS between Monday the 5th of March and Friday the 9th.
