So, what are some of the must have looks for ball season this year?

80s shoulders/statement sleeves

Think bold, puffed up shoulders, exaggerated frills or long floaty sleeves with this reoccurring look. They are on the rage in the fashion world. These distinctive focal points to your outfit are a great addition if you find yourself being pear shaped -a wider hip length to shoulders- as they will balance you out perfectly. Not to mention, it's just fun to have extravagant sleeves in your outfit.

Sequins and Slits

The 80s are just in full swing with their influence on the big fashion trends this year. Now this style just oozes sex appeal, with your glamourous shimmery dress and just the right amount of leg on show. You will without a doubt, look simply, stunning. It is the perfect trend to be showing off your assets with pride and elegance. Also, just to clarify, you can be a tall bombshell or even a petite goddess to pull off these types of dresses. Height is no limitation here.

Floral, Ruffles and Whimsical Shifts

Patterns have turned into a prime staple of the fashion world, specifically, florals. Both feminine and refined, florals are a key look this spring. Add in the ruffles and a shift dress, you will sure bring an earthy and soft grunge look to your outfit. It’s a perfect look for you ladies out there, with an athletic or straight up and down build.

Of course we wouldn’t forget Mens Fashion too. Men need a little TLC (tender, love and care) to their fashion sense as well.

Strips, Double Breast Pockets and Slouch Flit

Some of the hottest trend  setting suit pieces have contained the vertical stripe. It’s a great addition to a once drab and boring suit, giving a little revival and flare. Plus it provides a fabulous allusion factor, by providing a slimming quality to statures. Slouchy fits have hit it big time with those who just want to be comfortable and edgy. By adding double breast pockets into the mix you will never be considered “behind the times”.

With these tidbits of advice, you will certainly not come up empty handed in you decision to find the perfect outfit for you. Ball season is your time to shine.
